More than a year-and-a-half after having been published, “Living a Positive Life in a Negative World: My Uphill Journey” continues to enjoy success.  As shown (circled in lime green, top middle) in the image above, Linda Plunkett’s second book was recently seen in the New York Times Book Review.

In addition, less than one month ago her book was part of the Miami Book Fair (see photo below).

“I’m so blessed to continue to see all this interest,” Plunkett said.  “When I wrote it, I really wanted to help people, be it through the hope and inspiration aspect of the book or the healing tools that I wrote about – or both.  Although science and medicine and even technology are always changing, they don’t render the content of my book outdated.  For that reason, I know that people are finding help in what I wrote.”

Buoyed by the ongoing attention for “Living a Positive Life in a Negative World: My Uphill Journey,” Plunkett said she plans to travel to California in 2025 for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books to showcase the book.

“I have said all along that God is using me and what I went through for a purpose,” Plunkett explained.  “What I had to endure when I underwent brain surgery was so that others can benefit from the lessons I learned through that experience.”

She continued, “Based on comments from readers, audience members when I go out to do speaking engagements, and even questions that I get asked during interviews, I know in my heart that my books are touching people’s lives and making an impact.  There just very well might be a third book in the future.”
