March is Here!

March is Here blog Linda Plunkett

Can you believe that we are already almost a fourth of the way through the 2020 year?

So, how is it going?  Are you happy with the progress you have already made when you set those New Year's resolutions back in early January?  Unfortunately, life gets in the way for many of those goals really getting started. However, the good news is that it is not too late to implement your plan to make positive changes in 2020! The good news for many of us is that with changing our clocks forward we have more daylight hours to get even more things accomplished! So let's get busy and get started.

  1. First, carve out an intentional time in your schedule to focus on taking small steps to achieve your goals. Do this daily.
  2. I urge my coaching clients to focus on improving your body, your mind and your spirit. This may sound like a lot, but each area of our triune being affects the other areas. Making improvements in how you eat will improve your general physical body, helping you feel more motivated and energetic. This will translate into better mental decision making, and clearer thinking. Better overall health frequently leads people to be more actively engaged with loved ones in sports and hobbies, which tends to improve the strength of those relationships.
  3. Thirdly, as you seek to have a spiritual relationship with God, you will find a source of strength that will strengthen you through many difficult circumstances, both physical and emotional.

Many of you know that in late 2012, I survived a nearly eight-hour brain surgery. Post-surgery I was pretty much a mess, unable to walk and unable to think or communicate well. I am here to tell you that because of my relationship with God, not only did I experience a supernatural rescue from death, but also have had a miraculous recovery. This happened in spite of a medical institution telling me, "There is nothing we can do for you." I am a walking testimony of the fact that God can help your overcome even insurmountable circumstances.

Make time to put God in the center of your life!  It will be a decision you will never regret!

John 3:16 tells us God loved us so much that he sent his Son Jesus to die for us. All we have to do is make a choice to walk away from our old life and negative habits and ask Him to come into your life. He loves you and is waiting for you to make that decision right now!  Don't delay!  Make the decision today and never walk alone again!
